Talk description: Dr. Wang, Chief Artificial Intelligence scientist, will lead the research into how AI can use vast amounts of anonymized patient data collected from the Toronto area’s diverse population to improve care. He will explore AI applications that will facilitate the development of personalized treatment plans by having AI analyze vast amounts of information and identify patterns based on everything from genetic data to patients' symptoms, lab results and medications. His goal is to promote the use and adoption of AI in Health Care.

Talk description: Precision Child Health is a movement to deliver individualized care at SickKids, using integrated data about each patient from their genetic code to their postal code. Reimagine how we care for patients by changing the way we predict, prevent, diagnose and teat disease through integrating knowledge about a child's unique genetic makeup, biology and environment. Dr Cohn will present how SickKids is incorporating Precision Child Health to care for our patients.

Talk description: The keynote speaker will address the reason why she founded her Foundation and explain how she managed to create this legacy. Roslyn will discuss the impact of the work which can motivate and inspire others to continue the work in this space. She will include the challenges of doing this work, including finding the right students to support. Finally, the audience will hear about her insights regarding what work still needs to be done to continue to support women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths fields).
