The IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society and the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society is please to announce the 42nd International Engineering in Medicine and Biology Conference is to be held in Montreal, Quebec from July 21-25, 2020.

The CMBES Executive is in close contact with EMBS leadership who has been closely monitored the COVID-19 pandemic, as it has rapidly evolved over these past several weeks. The global impacts of COVID-19 have presented restrictions on travel, funding, and service delivery globally, for many individuals with plans to attend EMBC 2020 in Montreal coming July. 

Therefore, the EMBC 2020 Organizing Committee is now switching gears to host a virtual conference in July 2020, in lieu of a face-to-face meeting in Montreal. In the coming weeks the organizing committee will be reaching out to all conference stakeholders (authors, speakers, exhibitors, etc) with the expectations related to this new conference framework.
